Celebrating Yalda & Night Chant

I feel that me and my partner did a good job on the music and the way the video flowed because we took our time cuting out the little things that did not belong in our video the only thing we did not get to finish is out titles/credits and also i meesed up on the tittle instead of naming it "celebrating yalda and the night chant" i named it "happy holidays!" wich was just suppose to be at the end of the video not at the begining

I would of liked to have taken a little more time to edit our video and find a little better pictures of it and also alot of different flash effects such as transitions and effects. what i liked on what other gfroups diod was the whole music scheme and transitioning from slide to slide in some videos it seemed really smooth and came out reallyh good.

in order to create our video we spicifically looked up some pictures that i tought would of been good for the whole scheme we also used premere pro to set up and finilize our project but inbetween that we used after effects wich let us manipolized the whole green screen afect and came out to be really good.

i helped my parter by showing her how to edit her clip and how to use the whole greenscreen effects and how to edit differenmt clips. my parter helped me by letting me know wjhat she tought of it and what changes i could or should of made for the video.

what i would do differently if i could do this project again would be to take more time on doin it and work a little more hard on it by making the best it could be.

Titles Workshop

This is an example of an opening title, which means the title is at the beggining of the clip. You might use this kind of title when introducing a clip.

Deleting, Lifting & Extracting

A simple cut in the timeline meanscuting that part and leaving a gap. When you cut, the other clips in the timeline get a gap between them.
A ripple edit is when you delete a part but it put it back together. You do this by right clicking and press ripple delete. When you ripple delete, the other clips to the right of the deleted clip come together.
Lifting and extracting are two ways to cut clips at one time. To do this, you set an in and out point and then decide if your gonna left or extract.
Lifting is like cuting, while extracting is likeripple deleting, in terms of what happens to the other clips in the timeline.
This is an example of an ripple edit. I decided to place the two clips where I did because it seemed a perfect way to show ripple and cut edits.

Insert video

This is an example of an insert edit. An insert edit places a clip between the main clip without moving the main clips sequence. To do this, you hit cntrl. and drag the part you want to to the main video. I decided to insert the 2nd clip where I did becausei felt that was the best placement for that clip.
At the end of the 2nd f4v:
The difference between an overlay and an insert edit is inserting beween a clip or cutting off a little part of the main clip to insert the new one.
You would use an overlay when you want to change the main clip parts, while you’d use an insert edit when you want to add a part of another clip into the main sequence witought changing the way the clips flows. In this case the insert edit works better because_none of the clips get deleted.

what i did wrong in this video is not saving it properly to a folder in my documents and also not changing the size of the shot to widescreen.

This is an example of an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip_it goes over. To do this, you drag the clip you choose to the the middle of the other one. I decided to drag the 2nd clip where I did becauseit looked like the perfect place to be inserted.

I think I am getting better at editing and importing & exporting all the projects we have had so far. Im happy with the way our video came out and how the title and credits came out they look fenominal. I should have took a little longer to see which video went with the other kinda like a a good smooth sequence of videos. On my next project, I need to keep in mind that following step by step directions will make the go process go by smoother and faster.
One way i helped my partner was to help keep her on track and help her with any questions she had.my parnter helped my by taking over when i didnt know what to do the project probably would have failed without her. On this project i gained a better idea about how to edit and upload videos. What helped me figure this out was trial and error. One challenge we faced was finding the right spot to start and edit a video. We overcame this by discussing what we believed would be the best spots.

Reflection

What i learned about Premere Pro was like no other program I have ever used. Its like a mini professional software available at SBHS that movie makers use. I like hiow simple it can get if you relly understand the program because it makes thing much easier than trhe Movie Maker software. I also really like how you can create a title in the same screen and how you dont even have to open and save you just close it and it saves it for you. The last thing I tough was very unique about this program is that you can save it into ALOT of different formats to upload in any video players.
